Dr. Dustin Davis: Pediatric Dentist Offering Fear-Free Dental Experiences
Dr. Dustin Davis earned his dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012 and completed a pediatric residency and master’s degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2014. During this period, he served as an on-call provider at a pediatric dental clinic and hospital, treating children who had sustained trauma and had urgent dental needs. That experience strengthened his ability to support young patients and families during challenging situations. He later became a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, reflecting an ongoing commitment to professional growth. His master’s thesis on protective stabilization was published in a pediatric dentistry journal and continues to be cited in professional guidelines.
Dr. Davis is active in his community through volunteer service, school outreach, and support for local programs in Clackamas and Happy Valley. He participates in service efforts connected to his church congregation, helping to coordinate projects, organize volunteers, and assist individuals or families seeking temporary support, including those in need of food resources or moving assistance. Each February, he visits local preschools and elementary schools during National Children’s Dental Health Month to teach children simple, encouraging lessons about oral health. Outside his practice, he spends time with his wife and four children, enjoying activities such as skiing, surfing, camping, and discovering local restaurants, which allows his family to stay connected to the community while balancing work, service, and family life.
